Note: If you place an order for an item sold by Amazon with a credit card, we won't charge you until the order enters the shipping process. If you place an order from one of our third-party sellers, the seller may charge your card at the time of purchase.

What happens if you order on Amazon with no money?

If there is no money on the card amazon will refuse payment method. If by a miracle the transaction goes through, you are still on the hook for paying for what you have purchased. If you don't you will not be able to order from amazon in the futre.

How do I know if my Amazon order has been paid?

The only way to tell if this is a legit order is to sign in Seller Central and look at the Manage Orders tab. After you process the order, mark it shipped and enter tracking (which is automatic if you use the buy shipping button) then the amount will appear on your current statements in Reports.

Why does Amazon not take money straight away?

In most places its the “law”. They can not charge your card if they do not ship the product within 24–48 hours. Amazon has setup there systems, so when they generate the pick, the item(s) get charged to you then, as the items will be shipped with in a few hours.
