Can Xbox and PC play GTA 5 together?

We will be direct, no, GTA 5 is not cross-platform. Rockstar hasn't introduced this feature to its huge audience of GTA 5 yet. ... It means that a person with a Playstation 4 and Xbox One can play GTA 5 with the person playing the game on PC. However, both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One guys can't play with each other.

Can you crossplay GTA 5?

Whatever the case may be, crossplay is not available within GTA 5, and it doesn't appear to be coming in the near future. So, if you're looking to link up with some friends, you're all going to have to squad up on the same platform!

Why is GTA Online not cross-platform?

There is no major reason why Rockstar won't make GTA Online cross-platform in the future. They also already have the infrastructure to handle cross-platform functionality with the Rockstar Social Club which keeps track of your GTA Online progress.
