Many women wear pantyhose in order to reduce the appearance of stubble, blemishes, or pale legs, and this benefit cannot be ignored. Because pantyhose comes in a large range of colors, most women can find one to match their skin tone or completely alter the color appearance of their legs in order to match an outfit.

Should I wear pantyhose to a wedding 2020?

It's appropriate to wear pantyhose, even to semi-formal events, in cold weather. Many women find it uncomfortable being in very cold weather with nothing on their legs. For this reason, it's a good idea to wear stockings with skirts, even if you're simply going out to a semi-formal dinner with your partner or family.

Should I wear pantyhose to a wedding?

The Answer: It Depends Pantyhose would be more appropriate at a winter, cold-weather wedding than for one in summer or at the beach. The Newport Manners website says if you do wear them, make sure they're a little lighter than your skin tone; "suntan" shades tend to show up with an orange tone in photos.

Is it unprofessional to not wear pantyhose?

Yes. It's very unprofessional assuming there's a work dress code which specifically says that women should wear nylons to work. In the absence of a work dress code, wearing hosiery should be optional, which means that's it neither professional or non-professional to wear them.
